Introduction This is a blog post on how to teach things well. I’ll mostly be focusing on forms of teaching that involve preparation and structure, like talks and tutoring, but these ideas transfer pretty broadly. I think teaching and explaining ideas is an incredibly important skill, and one that most people aren’t great at. I’ve spent a lot of time practicing teaching ideas, and I think I’ve found a bunch of important ideas and approaches that work well.
