Humanism and Superhumanism — Reconstructed Lecture (v2)
The left column is the ensemble-verified transcription of the 34 manuscript sheets (three vision models per page, reconciled against the scans). The right column is a reconstruction of the lecture as delivered: every argumentative move, example, and emphasis follows the notes line by line, while the connective prose is written in the voice of Stapledon's published lectures and books — calibrated in particular against Waking World (1934, the lecture's published twin) and his own printed text of the 1948 "Interplanetary Man?" address, the one case where his notes and his finished spoken prose survive together. Passages the notes mark for special stress are stressed; the two planned poetry readings (Blake, Shelley) are placed where the argument invites them. The synopsis sheet is the lecture's cover: the running-order with page numbers, the venue and date in red pencil — South Place, 29·12·34 — and two planned readings, Blake's "The Tyger" and Shelley's "Ozymandias", with the page numbers
