The battery never discharges below the minimal backup power buffer, to ensure that at least this amount of energy is available during an outage. Example: Backup buffer: 20%. This setting means that 80% of the capacity of the battery is still available for daily usage. In case of an unexpected power outage, a supply of at least 20% can be guaranteed. Be aware that the battery might immediately start charging if you set the backup power buffer higher than the current SoC. By default, a battery runs in self consumption mode to maximize the use of self-produced energy. To change this behaviour, custom windows can be configured in which the battery will not use self consumption mode, e.g. to increase consumption of energy from the grid during low tariff windows. If you setup AC Microgrid please check the used measurement setup. It is necessary to change it to differential measurement in case of using only two powermeters. It is not recommended to disable automatic updates! To keep your sonn
