When I joined the company, I’d signed my contract without thinking about it. Now I was wising up due to confusing remarks Ash made, such as, “Bonus pool’s down again—I worked the last six months for free.” We were on different contracts because Ash was technically a developer, and furthermore he had refused to sign the updated contracts they’d presented everyone.
