iStock Global climate commitments have jump-started the global voluntary carbon market and it is blooming a spring in India. From a nearly dormant market in 2020, with over-supply and rock-bottom prices of carbon credits, the market jumped nearly four-fold in 2021 and reached well over the $1 billion mark.
