I am become death, the destroyer of worlds. J. Robert Oppenheimer Physicians, medical students, trainees and graduate students seem to be getting the entrepreneurial bug. Driven by burnout, frustration or the plain reality that academic science for most grad students and bioengineers is no longer Plan A, they are embracing bioentrepreneurship education and training and following other career options. While we need all the sick care innovation and entrepreneurship we can get, we are in danger of creating too much froth. Based on recent conversations, here are some concerns: 1. Medical students
