AI Philosophy Competition
AI is now exceptionally capable in mathematics and coding. In philosophy, the capabilities of AI are less clear. One reason for this is that there are not any obvious benchmarks by which AI-generated philosophy can be systematically judged. The purpose of this competition is to gauge the philosophical capabilities of AI in a way transparent to the philosophical community. Entrants are invited to submit up to three original essays on any philosophical topic, alongside a methodology report describing the method of generating the works, in as much detail as possible. There are no restrictions on how to generate the work except that it must be primarily AI generated. Minimal human collaboration is allowed. Works that meet this threshold will be judged without prejudice to their method of generation. Detailed rules Max 6k words per submission (so 3 x 6k words per entrant, plus methodology reports). Submissions must not be published or under review elsewhere, and entrants must consent to pub
