Imaginary Ventures — About
Natalie is a seasoned brand builder with over 30 years of experience in predicting consumer trends as a journalist, entrepreneur, and investor and having envisioned and created the modern-day template for luxury digital commerce. She founded Net-A-Porter in 2000, revolutionizing luxury retail and growing it into a $1 billion business with minimal funding. The key to the business’s success was Natalie's unparalleled talent for discovering iconic brands early in their development, building strong relationships with brands and founders, and securing international exclusivity for Net-A-Porter. Her time at NAP led her to co-found Imaginary, where she continues to spot the most exceptional early-stage brands and scale them globally. Natalie also served as non-executive Co-Chair of Farfetch and Chairman of the British Fashion Council. A TIME 100 honoree and Business of Fashion Hall of Fame inductee, Natalie was named Dame Commander of the British Empire in 2016. Co-Founder and General Partner
