somewhere beyond right and wrong, there is a garden, all souls meet , but none stay. we stand at the edge, hands clasped tight, watching the horizon bleed into shades of twilight. the current hums beneath our feet—a melody of motion, of ceaseless going, of water that never returns the same way twice. i know, in some unspoken part of me, that the water will take us too, or the wind will dissolve you away. perhaps not today, not this moment, but the pull is inevitable. everything flows, and nothing clings to the banks for long. i think the act of leaving as a wind too—a force that carries you far from shore, farther than you thought possible, until you no longer recognise the land you once called familiar. It isn’t just a physical departure. It’s a slow erosion, a gradual wearing away of the self as those we love slip further and further from reach, until they’re no longer there to hold us, to anchor us in the world.
