A very belated New Year post

As I round the bend in my second year of grad school, I feel an ever-increasing weight on how I spend my time. Increasingly, it feels like doing something is a kind of self-definition. Describing myself as studying political economy, or behavioral-political economy, or history-and-political economy feels like a more deliberate choice associated with different potential futures.
