Last week, the architect Christopher Alexander passed away. Christopher Alexander at the Julian Street Inn, taken by Richard Morgenstein. A polarizing figure in his own field, he found a second following in the field of software development, which is how I came to know of him. My friend Nisei Ota told me about him around 2001.
