Uber Eats sent me a notification a while back that got stuck in my mind. It went something like this: “Cure your cravings! Order a bite with free delivery!” I am certainly interested in curing my cravings. I’m pretty big on the Buddha’s words about Cravings being the source of suffering. His method, though … is rather dry and laborious. I didn’t know Uber was also in the Craving-Curing business, and it sure sounds like they are offering an easier solution to the problem of cravings. Finally, after two millennia, we’ve disrupted Buddhism. On-demand food delivery is a rather incredible service.
