I was in a meeting a few years ago to pitch our edtech training program for teachers in my community. I knew what I was supposed to say. But when I opened my mouth, what came out was this rambling mess of half-thoughts and borrowed technical jargon. I sounded like every other tech nerd who'd never thought through what they were saying. On my way home, I realized that I think better than I speak. Way better.
