This year (2018), for the first time in my life, I started and succeeding in somewhat following a reading list. It began because I noticed an 80/20 pattern (more like a 98/2 pattern) where I found most books pretty obvious, pointless and fluffy, and a small fraction of books stimulating, mind-expanding, and incredibly valuable. And this fraction was mostly dependent on what part of my belief system needed to be challenged at that particular moment, or what small intuition needed to be bolstered.
