The self-directives are three guiding principles for your time at RC. These are directives because we think that if you follow them, you’ll learn a lot, build meaningful relationships, have a transformative experience at RC, and help those around you do the same. They’re self-directives because these are things you must do for yourself, in your own ways. They are: The self-directives are tools for learning and working independently, and can help you discover (and keep discovering!) what’s most interesting to you. If you apply them, you’ll be able to do work that’s challenging, that matters to you, and that you’re proud of—not just at RC, but over the long term.
