President Trump's AI task force set its first agenda around cybersecurity, biosecurity and oversight of AI models, and plans to commission a report on those risks. China's commerce ministry moved to restrict exports of its AI models, AI agents and computing clusters by proposing to add them to its export control list, with public comments open until Nov. 15. Taiwan plans to make smuggling AI chips to China a crime by adding AI servers and advanced semiconductors to its controlled exports list in line with its trade commitments to the U.S., though officials gave no start date. G7 finance ministers and central bankers will run simulated crisis drills on AI enabled cyberattacks against the financial system.
