MIT Media Lab vs Stanford MS CS : r/mit

Hi Everyone, I want to preface this question by saying I am incredibly honored to receive acceptances from the MIT Media Lab (MS MAS) and Stanford (MS CS). After Masters', I am primarily looking at either working in the industry as a research engineer (hopefully on ML teams) or launching/joining a startup. To be honest, I am not even sure which factors I should be looking at for comparing them because they are both amazing programs! While MAS comes with full funding, Stanford doesn't. However, I do think it is relatively easy to get funded starting from the second quarter (but the uncertainty still exists). I would greatly appreciate your thoughts on this decision :) tbh I’d say Stanford CS...I know a lot of MIT Media Lab people who don’t do an ounce of CS, and I don’t think it’s
tbh I’d say Stanford CS...I know a lot of MIT Media Lab people who don’t do an ounce of CS, and I don’t think it’s the best place to get a rigorous CS background for your goals. Just looked up the course requirements and they seem far less focused than Stanford’s. Media Lab is a cool, creative space though. You seem to have made up your mind already, which is fine. And you also seem to want more CS, which is also fine. Ignore this answer then, if you like. My six years at the Lab were six of the best years of my life.
