Almost nobody today wants the childhood that produced her.
I noticed Eileen Gu making headlines again after her appearance on some famous podcasts and comments from listeners saying -in awe- that she sounds so smart. So eloquent. So disciplined and in control. There are many smart women out there but what stands out about Eileen is that she is barely 23 - and does not sound at all like 23. Many clips of her are usually followed by the question: how do you raise a child like that? I’ve seen people ask this on her mom’s profile - with no response. I find this interesting, because the prevailing advice to parents right now runs in the exact opposite…
