i know a girl every night we meet each other in the parking lot and we have it out i break her ribs and give her a good one to the face in the morning you wonder why i have a black eye i tell you “you should see the other girl!” but you say, “the same one?” same one as always. i don’t know what you were expecting i don’t know if you want me to lie to you or what at night soft moonbeams shine down on us from the deep rippling pool of the sky the waters part, lightning drops like electric rain her arm around you pins you to the tree at night she crawls in with me under the covers…
