The quality of the air we breathe indoors is invisible most days. But poor indoor air impacts how we think, how we learn, how sick we get, how we sleep, and how long we live. The younger we are when exposed, the more these effects compound. As a global society, we’ve made enormous strides on outdoor air pollution, but are in the earliest stages of ensuring that the air we all breathe indoors — nine out of every 10 breaths we take — is clean, healthy, and safe.
