I’ve accepted that being a zealot of the product management craft is not as productive as trying to follow a few core tenets. Such things as focusing on the problem vs. a solution and keeping the 4 product risks in mind. But at the end of the day, most companies don’t have an opinion or adhere to a system of doing product. And it’s impossible to influence cultural change unless you are at the exec level. Cagan product culture while rare does exist.…
