I am an artist and educator based in New York City. I create artwork with code, and focus on building experimental drawing and animation tools. I make interactive environments that invite participants to become performers. My main focus is how computation can be used as medium for poetry. Note: I’m currently in the process of redoing my website here (after many years of neglect) so this page is just a placeholder while I get that up, but I will do my best to link out to recent projects and things I’m working on. I helped create the School for Poetic Computaton in 2013 with a group of friends after teaching for a decade at Parsons school of Design.
