This is a letter, written as one long breath, one thread pulled across time, to you - maybe when you're older, maybe when you’re lost, maybe when you’re looking for something like I still am. When I was young, I made sense of the world by comparing it to things I already understood. That’s what analogies are - trying to explain the unknown using the known. I used to imagine people as moving points, like geometry or physics homework come to life. (Perhaps that’s why I love Physics too, because it also gave me “the structure to chaos”, a method to understand more complex things). So when life got too big, I simplified it. I imagined it like a map. A journey. A long drive. That’s where this started: this idea of “The map of life”. A sketch you redraw as you go. With enough smudges and crossings-out to prove you’ve lived. That metaphor has stayed with me. And now, I want to share with you about it, and what’s in my map.
