Why the fuck is that a rule, people are just curious, and if they where fans of Coco and found Kson and are wondering if its her to continue to support her, how the hells is that not polite? Some people become Vtubers as a way of becoming a character and people become attached to the character and it’s a way to sort of stay engaged without revealing to much personal info. I’m sure there’s more to it but not revealing to much personal info is a good part of it. I'm pretty sure it's about contracts. Some Vtuber management companies hold the rights to the characters, and forbid their "actors" from ever mentioning them outside of the role, especially as new vtuber roles they become.
