TBI You’ve had a profound influence on book design across the Chinese-speaking world. Why do you think that is? WZH The influence of my work in the Chinese-speaking world stems from two key factors. First, books are a democratic medium, easily accessible to all, able to effortlessly convey design ideas to readers through thoughtful design. My focus on literature, humanities and art publications resonates with readers who are eager to share and discuss these designs. Second, I view book design as a platform for realising personal design concepts, exploring its potential to break through traditional boundaries rather than solely serving commercial markets. This unique perspective has inspired a new generation of designers to reimagine the craft. Social media has further amplified this dialogue, connecting my work to a global audience.
