I am nineteen and just took three hours to assemble a bed frame in my apartment on the corner of Warren Hall and Berkeley Way West; which to non-Berkeley-ians, assumedly means nothing. But, to me, denotes a calculated move to reside in the hub of AI, tech, and its attached amenities: tenured professors, mechanized lattes, Sweet Green, Herman Miller, etc etc. The lack of dexterity required to wield a screwdriver is made up with an aptitude for training machine learning models, analyzing quadrillion rows of data, and, perhaps, predicting the future with my ongoing You See Berkeley education, because, you see, this school transformed me into a statistics-python-pandas-tensorflow-linear-algebra-gpu monster. But first, I need to handle this apartment’s god-forsaken excuse of a ceiling light. Not my optimal coding environment – I like it warm. There are these sconce taper candle
