I was waiting for the dust to settle before opining on the news that Taylor Swift bought back her masters for a reported $360 million. But then I was like never mind. If I’m wrong I’m wrong. There is a certain brand of delulu anti-fan1 that thinks that this moment is going to mark the point where Swifties turn on Taylor because they’ll feel like they’ve been cheated. I think it’s kind of obvious that this isn’t true? Like if you try to imagine explaining this to a friend who isn’t very tapped in they wouldn’t be like “won’t her fans be mad.” But it will not happen for two reasons.
