Got an offer! Used a 'proactive research' approach to find PM/PO roles : r/ProductManagement

Almost 2 months ago, I started my job search journey as a Product Manager / Owner. Last week, I received an offer that I am glad to accept (plus, I am waiting for a few more responses next 1-2 weeks to see how my case studies went out). Some inputs: 3+ years of PM experience Marketing/SaaS domain Left my previous role end last autumn and dedicated almost five months to some side projects and family. The beginning: So, at the very beginning of my job search journey, I started with a straightforward tactic: job websites I was using LinkedIn, Otta, Indeed, Wellfound, YC Jobs, and a couple of small private job boards to filter the PM/PO roles in the country where I currently live. There were dozens of interesting roles out there, so I started applying by preparing 3-4 different cover letters that I tweaked for each company (emphasizing some specific aspects of my skills that would fit best for the role) In total, I’ve sent 106 applications from these.
