The Bhamla Lab is a group of biophysicists and bioengineers who focus on cultivating an often overlooked attribute in science: curiosity. From worm blobs to cyborg cells to $1 hearing aids, our work seeks to understand how organisms do amazing things, the physics behind life’s remarkable materials, and how we’re able to use simple concepts to build frugal technology for global health.
