Curiosity's Role in Shaping Perspectives on Technology

The debate over technology's impact on society has raged for decades. While some claim its inherent goodness, others warn of its detrimental effects. Proponents of technological progress argue it's intrinsic to human nature, and this is the only way to make the human condition better. Yet, skeptics fear that technology leads to job loss, isolation, and a loss of human values, advocating for caution. My intuition always told me that technology is a net good, and we should strive towards it. Interestingly, I was always guided by intuition first and would somewhat always fall under the confirmation bias searching for a more constructive and logical answer trying to confirm my feelings.
