One of the largest problems in the AI art space is that those who bring the inventions of open source to the world tend to be closed-source companies. This means that people expend extraordinary effort inventing, discovering and building - and companies come along and commercialise this without sharing anything meaningful back with the ecosystem. Below, I'm proposing is a specific effort that I believe can help solve this problem - for us to build infrastructure and tooling that makes it ridiculously easy for anyone to craft a beautiful cross-platform art tool that combines many workflows in unique ways. I think - powered by AI - it'll make building and shipping a great and unique consumer tool as easy as making a Comfy workflow - not extremely easy but not inaccessibly difficult either. These can be for personal use - optimised for your own art creation process - or marketed to the public.
