In this post I talk about what in my opinion makes a good photo, and how to improve and grow as a photographer.

Ansel Adams apparently once noted: “the single most important component to a camera is the twelve inches behind it.” I say apparently because I don’t know where he wrote it or if there is any proof that he said it, so let’s take that with a grain of salt. It is quite a popular quote and I tend to think it could be real. I have to say I don’t completely agree with that quote. I would personally go further and say that what matters in photography is what is in front of the camera –– and only then, what is behind the camera. The camera itself just has to exist and be good enough
