i’ve spent a lot of time introspecting over the past two years, trying to make peace with my past, understand the way i developed, what drives me, and what i believe will drive me in the future. and by doing so, i’ve become a lot closer to developing an emotionally detached and fairly intellectual view of myself, as i’ve been able to step outside of my emotions a little more. however, i’ve been very familiar with my struggles in life. but, they have not really changed or in some cases, gotten worse. so, what happened? what happened is simple. i learned to understand myself a lot more, but not necessarily how to execute. i spent exorbitant amounts of time thinking, but not necessarily acting. extraordinary amounts of time analyzing, but not creating. i think that’s why it’s no surprise that after about a year and a half of this, what i ended up wasn’t a sustainable life that i loved living, but rather, the realization that i hated nearly everything about the current life that i lived. a
