The emergence of artificial intelligence and complex automation once again stirs up concerns about new technologies posing a threat to humans.1 Although large language models powered by transformer architectures have changed the way we communicate with machines (computers) we still do not quite understand one another.2 Even though technology is made to make our world more understandable and increase our access to knowledge it is often obfuscating it by the constraints of the medium itself. This is why we often turn to more irrational tools and ways of comprehending. How do we cope with this excess, overflowing beyond the limits of our comprehension? Is the predicted, computed future the domain of agency and knowledge or are we going to invent new ways of knowing and understanding? By what means can we understand the black boxes and interfaces we deal with?
