Last week’s historic criminal conviction of a former president came as a surprise to many who have become inured to the topsy-turvy world of Donald J. Trump. But I had a sense this was coming a few months back when I saw that one of the lead prosecutors for the Manhattan District Attorney was my old friend Josh Steinglass.
