My world model updated a lot this month from chatting with hundreds of people from rationalist-adjacent communities, hardware hackathons, sci-fi demos, tech events, and even funky coworking spaces. These folks are mostly a few years older than me, including AI emulation developers, metamathematics enthusiasts, Australian deep tech startup founders, laser interferometer engineers, synthetic biologists, NLP master’s students, Caltech neuroscience enthusiasts and etc. I’ll share notes here for externalizing my memory and possibly inspiring some readers.
