I try to steer away from factory-farmed meat period, and have more flexibility around beef only, because it’s much less horrible than chicken and pork factory farming. I buy a fair amount of nicely treated cow. I make a recurring donation to an effective anti-factory farming charity. I am “dinner party omnivorous,” meaning that if somebody makes me anything, I’ll eat it, and I’ll make exceptions if I’m traveling and have an opportunity for a hard-to-duplicate culinary experience. I don’t think there’s a perfect set of tradeoffs but I’m happy with this one. Man
