encircl. — Iris Chiu

Encircl. is an iOS mobile application designed to educate, excite, and gamify the experience of recycling, thus incentivizing our guests to make frequent trips to recycling centers and reducing landfills. This project was done as a part of the College + Target Adobe Creative Jam. Christina and I were selected finalists (top 10) and presented in the finale, winning $$ and a coaching session with a Target Design Representative. houses the point tracking system(illustration & ring), weekly deals for bonus points(incentivize guests to make recycling a part of daily habit), and Discovery news feed( educate on sustainability). allows guests to utilize points earned to claim offers and cashback rewards. Once the offer is redeemed, points will automatically be calculated. allows guests to search for how to properly recycle items, reducing the possibility of items ending up in landfills due to bad practices. utilizes AI to scan items and leading to how to properly recycle them, reducing search
