I’ve been meditating! I started about a week ago, and since then I’ve been doing it for 30-45 minutes every day, usually late morning. So far, I’ve only given up once. So, as an Enlightened Master of Tranquility and Equanimity™, I thought i’d share just a bit of my infinite wisdom on how to fix. . . . everything. jk instead im gonna talk about my thoughts on meditating so far cuz ive found it kinda cool. First, the routine: I’ve been following the method described in The Mind Illuminated, which some of you may remember was recommended in a certain google doc about pain. I’ve been biking over to the Windhover building on campus, which is extremely beautiful and somehow also extremely empty, and thats been, apart from the very hard floors, a pretty cool place to be. Then I set a timer for 45 minutes, close my eyes, and don’t open them until the timer goes off.
