Informed by Collette’s extensive experience in providing services at San Quentin and Sam’s lived experience of incarceration at San Quentin, they realized that only a comprehensive pre- and post-release program would fully address the needs of the individuals incarcerated there. As a result of this realization, CRI’s Empowered Reentry Program was born.
