Some philosophies are more demanding than others, and literal Biblical Christianity is probably one of the more demanding ones. I see this demand made to Christians a lot, but also to vegans ("oh you aren't really a vegan if you eat honey"), environmentalists ("lol at Al Gore, he flies to climate change conferences instead of, I don't know, swimming or something"), etc. Saying "oh you don't *actually* live by your principles because you do X, Y, and Z that's forbidden by your principles" seems like it proves too much. At best, this is a form of "meta-hypocrisy", where imperfect hypocritical humans accuse each other of hypocrisy instead of trying to live up to their own principles.
