I’ve been thinking lately that I want my yoga practice to be beautiful. Moving from the dream of competency to the dream of beauty was a journey that took a long time. To me, beauty in yoga involves three elements: the pace of your breath, the cleanness of your lines, the simplicity of your movements. Easy, right? But simplicity is dependent on mastery. Mastery is dependent on repetition. So you have to do something hundreds, thousands, tens of thousands of times before you can reduce it to its essential elements.
