An emotional narrative the person built around what they want to do. They’re often not aware of it. If you need to convince someone to do something, don’t pitch your idea. Instead, pitch the underlying idea fantasy to someone who would enjoy it. Similarly, if you want to convince someone not to do something, you need to understand their true motivation.
