I didn't think building a startup was this hard

Since I came back to Vietnam and worked on my startup full-time, there were endless times I doubted my capabilities to go on this journey. From time to time, I would cry to my housemate about how hard this journey was. It feels like if this business fails, I am a failure. Even if I might have learned so much throughout the process, at the end of the day, it feels like all that matters are sales, revenues, and profitability. It feels like my capability is measured against profitability metrics. No matter whether I like it or not, it's the reality. On one hand, building this startup has helped me become more practical about the problems and solutions that I am working on. On the other hand, the learning environment of startups is a stressful one that I don't think I was ready for. "You should do more experiments." "You should speed things up."
