Ivan graduated with an MEng degree in Computing in 2018 and was the first engineer of the EdTech team, founded in that same year by Dr Robert Chatley. Over the course of the following years he spearheaded the migration from the legacy CATe virtual learning environment to Scientia. Today, he is the tech lead of the team, first contributor and responsible for the overall development of the Scientia project across the whole stack, including infrastructure, UX/UI, APIs and database design. Jason holds an MEng in Civil and Maritime Engineering from the University of Liverpool and a PhD in Mechanica
