Plenty of copies survive. The issue is that the Tabula Rogeriana is an atlas, not a world map. So Konrad Miller has just taken all the regional maps in the atlas and stitched them together into a map. The only world map that is actually associated with the manuscript tradition looks like this. (It's not clear whether al-Idrisi himself produced this world map.) I don't think there is a great deal of disagreement here, and I apologise if my comment came off has confrontational. The point of having a range of copies is that through the work of textual criticism they provide good evidence about what was in the original. Hence: Atlas just means a collection of maps; of which could be world maps. Sure, but as you yourself rightly note, we have no indication that there was a world map attached to the atlas.
