Architectural surfaces – walls, columns, ceilings – are animated to “breath,” swelling and flattening in the even pace of a body at rest. The moving surfaces are integrated into architectural spaces so as to be almost invisible. The audible sighs of the unseen blowers turning on and off help locate the work.
