We’re not a charity. Surprise: not all therapists can afford to work for near nothing. Whilst we do offer low-cost counselling and subsidised group sessions for £15 — we pay our therapists well. 2. We must not undervalue someone who has trained professionally and academically (some for a minimum of 6-7 years) to get where they are now — by expecting them to work for less. Psychotherapists don’t charge enough. 3.
