They will be updated throughout the Fall 2024 semester. In this chapter we're going to outfit your mech. I want to make sure you understand the robot hardware that we're using in these notes, and how it compares to the other hardware available today. You should also come away with an understanding of how we simulate the robot and what commands you can send to the robot interface. In the majority of the chapters, we'll make repeated use of just one or two robot configurations. One of the great things about modern robotics is that many of the tools we will develop over the course of these notes are quite general, and can be transferred from one robot to another easily.
