Luis Adolfo Noboa Naranjo (b. Ambato , February 1, 1916 - d. New York , April 28, 1994) 1 was an Ecuadorian businessman classified as the most important businessman in Ecuador in the  20th century . He is considered the richest man in Ecuador, in his time. He was the father of the businessman and politician, Álvaro Noboa Pontón and the equally businesswoman, Isabel Noboa Pontón . He was Annabella Azín 's father-in-law . And grandfather of the current president of Ecuador, Daniel Noboa Azín . Luis Noboa was born in Ambato , Ecuador on February 1, 1916. His father was Luis Adolfo Noboa Ledesma, a doctor and dentist, and his mother, Zoila Matilde Naranjo, a seamstress. He had three siblings, Enrique, María and Amanda. He was orphaned at an early age, when his father fell from his horse while coming home from work.
